The La Crisalide Foundation takes an active part in national projects aimed at preventing and combating gender-based violence, strengthening support services for women and promoting social inclusion.
Through these projects, the Foundation helps test new models of intervention and strengthen the skills of those working in the field.

“Geltrude Shelter Home: Recognising Oneself in Freedom” — a project offering protection, shelter and pathways to independence for women who are victims of violence and their children. At its heart is a shelter home in Campagna, set up in a property confiscated from organised crime.
The integrated programme includes: reception and multidisciplinary support; developing independence through workshops and training; and support with social and professional reintegration.
