The Foundation’s charter of values
The Code of Ethics is the Foundation’s charter of values and sets out the principles that guide every activity and relationship. Adhering to it is a moral and professional commitment for everyone acting on behalf of the Foundation.
It applies to governing bodies, employees, collaborators, consultants, volunteers, trainees, professionals and anyone who works with or represents the Foundation.
All our work recognises each person’s dignity, autonomy and self-determination, without judgement or discrimination. Particular attention is given to women victims of violence, children and vulnerable people.
Equal dignity regardless of gender, gender identity, orientation, age, nationality, religion, economic status, disability or any other characteristic. Discrimination and harassment are not tolerated.
Decisions are impartial, fair and transparent, avoiding conflicts of interest and any misuse of one’s position.
Personal and sensitive information is processed solely for institutional purposes and in compliance with data protection legislation.
Activities are carried out with diligence and responsibility, with ongoing training and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Collaboration, transparency and mutual respect with institutions, ETS, schools, universities, companies and organisations working on rights.
Resources are managed with responsibility, efficiency and transparency, in line with our institutional aims and sustainability.
Communication that respects people’s dignity; protection of identity; inclusive and responsible language.
A healthy, safe and inclusive environment. Abuse, harassment and discrimination are incompatible with the Foundation’s values.
Good-faith reporting of conduct contrary to the law or to the Code is encouraged, with protection against retaliation.
The Code is an integral part of the Foundation’s identity; it is circulated, covered in training and updated periodically.
