La Crisalide Foundation was born from the conviction that everyone has the right to live free from violence, fear and any form of discrimination. Our daily work is dedicated to preventing and combating gender-based violence, protecting victims and promoting a culture founded on respect, equality and human dignity.
Every initiative is inspired by the Italian Constitution, the Istanbul Convention, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and national and European legislation protecting the individual.
The person is at the heart of everything we do. We welcome people with respect, attentive listening and professionalism, without prejudice, creating safe spaces where they can share their experience without fear of being judged. We promote multidisciplinary support that brings together psychological, legal, social and educational expertise.
Combating violence means building a society founded on mutual respect and equality. That is why we promote relationship and emotional education, training and awareness-raising, with particular attention to younger generations.
All information is handled with the utmost confidentiality. We work alongside public bodies, social services, healthcare facilities, law enforcement, judicial authorities, schools, universities and the Third Sector. We manage our resources with integrity, transparency and accountability, investing in ongoing training for our employees, volunteers and collaborators.
