Women in Prison

Inclusion and social reintegration

The La Crisalide Foundation recognises the importance of promoting inclusion and social reintegration for women in prison too, many of whom have histories of violence, vulnerability and social exclusion.

By working with prison authorities, local services and Third Sector organisations, the Foundation supports initiatives aimed at strengthening personal independence, helping women gain skills and promoting psychological well-being.

Ortensia Project

An initiative carried out in collaboration with the UEPE (External Criminal Enforcement Office), the Regional Prison Administration Office for Campania and the Campania Region Ombudsperson for People Deprived of Liberty, to support the social reintegration of women in prison through training, psychological support and activities promoting independence and inclusion.
